At Empowering Fitness, we take our motto seriously. We believe that by lifting others up, we also rise. That’s why when you visit one of our workout classes, you will be encouraged and pushed to do your best.
ABOUT EMPOWERING FITNESS
Empowering Fitness offers kickboxing and bootcamp style fitness classes in Parkersburg. All fitness levels are welcome! Whether you have never worked out, don’t know what a burpee is, or maybe you complete triathlons…our classes are for you. We love you right where you are at.
WHAT IS EMPOWERING FITNESS?
Empowering Fitness offers kickboxing and bootcamp style classes for all fitness levels. Our goal is to help each person reach his or her fullest potential. With a holistic approach, we strive to preach health, not size. Although many of our clients do see weight loss results, they will tell you that the intangible results, such as increased confidence and energy are what keep them coming back.
Our classes are challenging, yet they can be tailored to suit any person at any level. We will guide and help you with any modifications that may be needed. We strive to make your workout work for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- Expect a great experience! We strive to make each workout challenging, effective, yet suitable for each fitness level.
- Expect the instructor to show you each exercise and it’s proper form.
- Expect to be encouraged.
- Expect to push yourself.
- Expect improvement in your fitness.
- Expect a short warm up.
- Expect to punch a bag! Unless it is a bootcamp day, we will be having fun punching a bag. You will be instructed on how to properly punch and kick the bag to prevent any injuries.

WHAT TO BRING
Kickboxing is a great workout that requires little equipment. Here is a list of what to bring.
– Tennis Shoes
You will need to provide your own wraps and gloves. Here are some links, and just some examples of what we recommend, to give you an idea of what you are searching for. These products can be found at any sporting goods store such as Scheels, or Dicks.

Welcome to Empowering Fitness! We’d love to have you join us. New things are always a bit intimidating at first, so we wanted to help you out by answering some of the most frequently asked questions.
Is Empowering Fitness open 24/7?
Empowering Fitness is only class led. That means that our facility is only open during class times. However, as you will soon discover, encouragement between members happens inside AND outside the class. We are a supportive group of people, in all areas of life.
How much does Empowering Fitness cost?
A six week session is $100 (new members receive a $10 discount). During that session you can attend any of our times (5:00 am and 5:30 pm) or jump around between different class times.
How do I sign up?
Simple. Just show up and we will help you fill out all of the necessary paperwork.
I missed the first few weeks of the session. Can I just at any time?
Yes. You can jump in at any time. Although we recommend starting at the beginning of the session to get the full benefits, participants are welcome to join the session part way through.
